Wakefield Trinity Community Foundation Volunteer Plea

Wakefield Trinity Community Foundation Volunteer Plea

Wakefield Trinity Community Foundation is on the lookout for volunteers to join us to help with some of our projects throughout 2021.

Over the past year, the Foundation has relied heavily on the inclusion of volunteers throughout our numerous projects, and we wouldn’t be where we are right now without them.

This was encapsulated brilliantly through the Foundation’s Big Feed event in both 2020 and 2021, delivering circa 15,000 meals throughout the district as well as our time volunteering at Spectrum Health CIC’s large-scale vaccination centre earlier this year.

However, as life returns to some sort of normality, the Foundation is aiming to obtain a large pool of volunteers to help across our projects over the next year.

These projects include Connect Again (which conducts wellbeing checks on our elderly and vulnerable members), Women and Girl’s Football, Weetabix Wildcats and Disability Rugby League.

If you are interested in supporting the Foundation and your community in 2021, please email colan.leung@wakefieldtrinity.com.
