Job Description

Wakefield Trinity Ladies RL is currently on the lookout for a Head Coach to start with immediate effect.

MISSION: To be recognised as a leading club and team that players, coaches, and supporters from in and around the region admire and aspire to be part of. 

VISION: To build a performance pathway that provides a professional platform, creating opportunities for all players in our team to succeed in life on and off the field. 

The Head Coach will be responsible for high-quality coaching delivery to the WSL athletes. Working in collaboration with the Head of Foundation (HoF), CEO, Team Manager, and Coaching staff to formulate a clear playing philosophy and plan to take the team forward.  

The Head Coach will be instrumental in providing a positive environment that helps develop all players and staff to compete successfully in the Betfred Women’s Super League and Betfred Challenge Cup competitions. 

You will be responsible for all on-field coaching requirements for the Wakefield Trinity Women’s team and delegation to support coaching staff to ensure that all players and staff can fulfil their own roles effectively through our long-term strategy. 

 As part of the management team, you will be a positive influencer for the players and other core staff members. There is an expectation that all staff will adhere to the codes of conduct, vision, mission, and core values of Wakefield Trinity Rugby League.
