We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced project officer with well-developed interpersonal skills to join the Health, Wellbeing and Inclusion department; someone who can develop partnerships with a range of stakeholders and engage and inspire people in the community to take part in physical activity and sport.
This is a wide and varied role, and the successful candidate will have a broad skill set. The responsibilities of the role are to lead on the coordination and delivery of multiple projects, ensuring adequate monitoring and reporting is completed within timescales provided, link participants to sustainable projects either internally or externally, record observations and create case studies to build evidence to secure further funding.
We are looking for candidates with excellent communication skills, evidence of leadership, proven organisation skills, experience in managing projects and an ability to work on their own initiative. Applicants will also have a sound financial understanding, to ensure that we meet our budgetary and regulatory requirements.
This is an exciting time for Wakefield Trinity Community Foundation, as we enter a period of change and plan for the next couple of years. The need for our services has never been greater. This role will be an opportunity for you to work closely with a professional rugby league club, the board of trustees, and the wider staff team, to further develop health, wellbeing and inclusion projects across the Wakefield District.
