Wakefield Trinity Community Foundation

Vacancies | Casual Gym Instructor / Personal Trainer

Job Description

Wakefield Trinity Community Foundation is on the lookout for casual gym instructors and personal trainers to join us to help with some of our projects throughout 2021.

Over the past couple of years, the Foundation has relied heavily on internal staff delivering on numerous projects, and we wouldn’t be where we are right now without them. However, as we grow as a department with more projects on the horizon, we are now able to recruit a pool of casual gym instructors and personal trainers who may fit some of our projects into their own schedule.

Therefore, we are currently on the lookout for Gym Instructors and Personal Trainers to join the Health, Wellbeing and Inclusion department to deliver projects in the heart of the community by harnessing the power of sport, health and education to make a lasting, positive impact on individuals’ lives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Delivering a variety of health, wellbeing or fitness sessions in the community.
  • To raise the profile of Wakefield Trinity in the community.
  • Link participants to sustainable projects either internally or externally.
  • Ensure safeguarding/child protection/vulnerable adults’ policies are always adhered to.

  • Level 2 Gym Instructor or Personal Trainer.
  • Own vehicle with full clean UK driving licence.
  • Enhanced Clean DBS (to be applied for through WTCF).
  • First Aid Qualification (within the last 2 years).
  • Safeguarding Certificate (within the last 12 months).
  • 1 x NGB Level 1 Coaching Qualification.
  • Mental Health qualification or experience is preferred but not essential.

We require both male and female instructors/trainers so if you or someone you know would like to apply, please email a CV and Cover Letter to colan.leung@wakefieldtrinity.com.
