Wakefield Trinity Community Foundation is delighted to give out over 2000 free tickets to schools ahead of next Sunday’s game against Wigan Warriors.
A blockbuster line-up deserves a blockbuster crowd, and with just a week away from the start of the redevelopment of the Be Well Support Stadium’s East Stand, the club is looking to get as many faces through the doors as possible.
Supporters will be entertained by four variations of the game, with the day kicking off as Wakefield Trinity Ladies host Castleford at 12pm, the Men’s team will then face Wigan Warriors at 3pm before both our PDRL and LDSL sides take to the field at full-time.
Looking to inspire the next generation of supporters, Foundation staff have been in schools all week looking to distribute tickets to pupils in the area.
Whether this is lovers of the sport or students who have never heard of the game, all children will get the opportunity to attend the showcase event and be a part of history.
Speaking on the distribution of tickets, Head of Foundation, Mark Brennan, said, “This is a fantastic opportunity to grow the game, especially with Women’s, Men’s, PDRL and LDSL sides all playing.
“We can’t wait to get the stadium rocking for the final time before work starts on the all-new East stand.”
Tickets for adults will be priced at £10 with juniors going free. For more information on the tickets given to schools, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
