Foundation confirms new starters

Wakefield Trinity Community Foundation is delighted to confirm four new starters at the beginning of February.
Introduced to deliver our newly-launched alternative provision with Outwood Grange Academies Trust, our Education department brought in Charleigh Lowe to plan, deliver and supervise on a full-time basis.
With Women’s Rugby League ever-growing in Wakefield, we also welcome Trinity Ladies’ captain Saskia Lewis to the Foundation as Women & Girls’ Rugby League Development Officer.
Furthermore, using the Government’s Kickstart programme, we are pleased to announce the acquisitions of Caleb Hogton and Grace Firth as Digital Media and Community Coordinator, respectively.

Our team
- Charleigh spent her time at university studying Drama & Education Studies before starting her PGCE in Secondary Drama.
- As well as two years’ experience in secondary teaching, she has eight years of experience in coaching in both football and multi-sports.
- She is looking forward to using all of her skills as Inspiring Futures Mentor for the Foundation.

- 23-year-old Saskia is a founding member of Wakefield Trinity Ladies RL, starting when she was 16, whilst also playing for Leeds Beckett University.
- She has recently graduated from both her undergraduate and master’s Sport & Exercise Science and Strength & Conditioning, respectively.
- She is really looking forward to starting her new role and hopes to grow women’s sport across the district.

- Caleb started his media in college before diverting to a role in engineering.
- Media has always been a career aspiration of his, with graphic creation and video editing at the top of his favourable skills.
- He is looking forward to adding and progressing existing skills as Digital Media Coordinator at the Foundation.

- 22-year-old Grace graduated from Nottingham Trent University in Psychology in 2021.
- She is looking to grow my experiences in the health and wellbeing sector, education and gain a coaching qualification, whilst working with the local community to provide more opportunities and support individuals/groups within our projects.
