‘Ahead of the Game’ workS alongside police neighbourhood teams to offer a targeted evening multi-sport programme in Eastmoor, Lupset, and Hemsworth – three anti-social behaviour hot spot areas across Wakefield.
Participants will be able to access a range of different sports with sessions led by qualified coaches from the Wakefield Trinity Community Trust in community-based facilities including MUGAs and parks.
The club’s professional players will also attend and take part in sessions with the young people whilst local PCSO’s will be supported to engage within the session to build relationships and cohesion with the young people.
