In today’s socially conscious environment, employees and customers place a premium on working for and spending their money with businesses that prioritise corporate social responsibility (CSR).

Wakefield Trinity Community Foundation have launched their Club 100 Business Patrons Network that will combine CSR with business to business networking, supporting the charities work in the local area.
Craig Shepherd, Head of Foundation at Wakefield Trinity Community Foundation, said “CSR can positively impact your business by improving your company image, building your brand and motivating you as a business owner.
“What the public thinks of your company is critical to its success,” Shepherd said. “By building a positive image that you believe in, you can make a name for your company as being socially conscious.”
Monthly networking events will help business patrons and their guests discover some of the impactful projects that are currently being delivered in their local communities.
“To create a philanthropic members club that businesses can join, helps them to feel part of something bigger,” Shepherd said. “Their financial commitment will support our ongoing work but there are also volunteering opportunities across our many projects if they want to get their hands dirty.”
