After a difficult 18 months, Wakefield Trinity Community Foundation is delighted to be taking part in #ThankYouDay 2021.
Since March 2020, the world has had to come together and help one another out. Whether this may be work, school, or even home life, everything has changed for so many and now it is time to say thank you to those who have helped us come out of the other side.
After starting through a small group aiming to bring people together as we emerge from the Covid-19 pandemic, with the event has found wide-spread publicity and was created with the aim of joining our together the local communities who have helped us throughout the crisis.
As a Foundation, we have heavily relied on our community, who we have not only supported, but have supported us throughout the pandemic.
This was shown in December when over 100 volunteers signed up to help us distribute meals as part of the Big Feed project, which, in turn, delivered over 1000 meals to the local community.
However, with life returning to some sort of normality, we want you to join us in taking the time to say thank you to someone who has supported you over the past year.
This can be your family, friends, work colleagues or even your boss, just someone has offered that reassurance, hard work or support since life diverted off track.
Once you have chosen your valued recipient, please tag the Foundation on either Facebook or Twitter followed by the hashtag #ThankYouDay and we will share them to our page.
