An improved Ambassador Club programme in 2022

Wakefield Trinity Community Foundation is delighted to confirm that 15 community clubs have signed up to our Ambassador programme for 2022.

The programme sees Trinity work hand-in-hand with affiliated community clubs to provide exclusive training sessions and match day festivals, holiday and activity camps, player development pathways and coach education programmes, whilst continuing to support and promote clubs in the Wakefield District.

Over the next year, Trinity is committed to working with 15 local community clubs to maximise the growth of Rugby League in their area, whilst expanding our portfolio.

Speaking upon the launch of the programme for 2022, the Foundation’s Community Rugby League Manager, said, “We are delighted to increase our portfolio of community clubs throughout the Wakefield district.

“This is an important programme that supports the development of youth Rugby League, offering young and up-and-coming players the opportunity to expand their knowledge within the game.

“Using the brand of Wakefield Trinity, we want to grow the game even further in the forthcoming year.”
