On Day six of our Wakefield Trinity Community Foundation Advent Calendar, we take a look back at how we delivered key vaccine messages through our Community Champions programme.
Looking to raise awareness surrounding being ‘Covid Safe’ and reducing the stigmas attached to the vaccination programme, earlier this year, the Foundation was awarded the tools to combat these issues within the City.
In a time where vaccination has never been more prevalent, the Foundation set out to echo important messages regarding the safety of the NHS vaccination programme, increasing confidence amongst the BAME, disabled and elderly age groups.
Working with the club, we raised awareness of the current health issues as the UK continued its road to normality.
As a Foundation, we are proud to have gained such responsibility as we aim to use our Rugby League identity to get the district moving once again.
